Healthcare providers are good for the economy

Healthcare providers create jobs, generate revenue, and pay taxes…hence, they are good for the economy. This link from The Independent Urologist touches on the potential impact of a departing doctor in Suffolk County.
On the economic scale, we are below the high end technology sector and are above retail. We add jobs to a local economy and give people economic opportunities that would be otherwise unattainable.
Our political leaders must wake up and see it for how it is. It really is that simple.
You can’t kill the goose that lays the golden egg.
