When the public expects reviews and referrals for an engineer or an electrician, why should physicians be exempt. If they are so bothered about their reputation, they better treat their patients right. I am an Engineer and I feel pretty comfortable having my customers publish reviews on my work. It only helps me, because I always do quality work, and make sure my clients are happy with my work. So yes, I strongly support online physician reviews.
