“Red Flag” rules – you still have some time

If you don’t know about the “Red Flag” rules yet, you may want to do some homework. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will begin enforcing law stating that practices need to have an identity theft prevention program in place. This program includes written policies and procedures as well as demonstration of true implementation of the program (i.e. it can’t just be written down and stuffed away in a binder somewhere in your clinic).
