Andrew Levy PT, MBA
Executive Vice President of Client Relations
Ownership experience, strategic development. With more than 30 years of experience in practice ownership, private equity and health care management, Andy’s been there, done that. The executive vice-president of client relations here at Vantage, he offers an extra set of eyes and ears for our clients, striving to open the lines of communication with each of them so he’s able to best align our resources and services with the strategic goals of their practice.
“Through my position, clients have one other touch point – a person at the executive level offering advice and solutions that serve their strategies,” Andy said. “It also means a direct line of communications to the entire Vantage team. If clients have questions in the realm of management services, for instance, I’m someone who they can contact regularly and directly – someone who’s been through it from both an ownership and management level.”
A management consultant with Vantage since 2008, Andy joined the ownership team in 2011. He holds academic degrees in biology and physical therapy and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. Having been a manager at large health care organizations as well as smaller, more intimate practices, Andy has navigated through significant changes in regional and national health care climates while gaining substantial experience in insurance negotiation and the development of practice networks.
A licensed physical therapist, Andy owned, developed and managed a network of outpatient rehabilitation facilities and provider networks in the Midwest for two decades. He also managed regional outpatient providers for several national industry consolidators, holding a number of executive positions within several health care companies.
“Being located in Denver helps in getting a multi-regional perspective of health care, offering a good access point for our clients,” Andy said. “Health care is generally managed regionally, but from here I’m able to gain a wide perspective on issues – perspectives I can share with clients across the country.”
Andy has been married for 36 years and has two grown children entering the health care community – one an ER resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and the other a future graduate of Boston University with a master’s degree in sports psychology and counseling. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, skiing and road cycling.
