This session will provide staff healthcare providers, practice owners, and administrators with the tools necessary to find answers to the questions: (1) Who needs us? Will they find us? What will they pay us?
In this session, I will discuss how to optimize capital investments by performing a comprehensive and predictive market analysis prior to implementing new programs, expanding into new facilities, or starting a practice for the first time. This session will include practical methods that should be used to analyze the relevant demographic makeup, competitive layout, referral network, and reimbursement sources available to support the introduction of new physical therapy services in a given community.
Finally, I will discuss the justification/theory for each element of the market analysis as well as provide specific methods, tools, and online resources used to perform the market analysis by a healthcare provider, practice owner, or administrator.
