Sticky Marketing Using Social Media

Online marketing presents numerous benefits and opportunities for healthcare providers in private practice. Marketing on the web is not only cost-effective, but it is where our patients gather, browse, and network. A marketing approach which capitalizes on the social networks that exist online is “sticky,” allowing your brand to achieve consistent contact with your patients through a channel that they actually prefer.

This seminar will go beyond the private practice website, and will focus on the benefits of connecting with current, past, and potential clients through two of the most popular social networking portals online: Facebook® and Twitter®. We will start with an introduction to these networks, and will discuss the rationale for implementing a strategy which focuses marketing efforts in this area. We will then discuss strategies which will allow you to attract and retain clientele through a consistent presence on Facebook® and Twitter®, and will cover the application and use of the social media sites as part of your overall marketing strategy.

Upon completion of this presentation, attendees will:
  1. Understand the relevance of social media in today’s healthcare marketing landscape.
  2. Understand the basics of Facebook® and Twitter®, including how the sites work, and how to create a private practice account.
  3. Understand how to create a social media strategy that works for their private practice, including the resources required in order to implement.
